Hello Diesel World
This is my first post on this new Blog. I will blog mostly about diesel pumps and their injectors. How diesel fuel systems work from old to new. Many engines are still running on diesel pumps and injectors of years gone by and these fuel systems are repaired and returned back into use. I will also take a look at symptoms on engines when diesel pumps or injectors fail. Where to send them for service and parts available for their repair.
Types of fuel systems I will mostly write about are for these engine types:
Caterpillar
Cummins
Detroit Diesel
Ford Navistar
John Deere
In addition I will mention other fuel injection manufactures such as:
Bosch
Zexel
Stanadyne
Denso
Delphi
Also post about test equipment that is required to calibrate fuel pumps from mechanical pumps and Injectors to HEUI, EUI and Common Rail.
